Deborah asked:
I wonder whether the first telephone system was installed in just one town or city – or joined up several centres of population.

Kate asked: I haven’t got much of an idea what I’m looking at, I need to buy a new phone for the house but I’ve seen some which are compatible with VOIP but are expensive, is it worth the extra money.
Any advice on the whole system would be great.
I currently have a — RoadRunnter — line and service and Dishnet TV with broadband package. Most phone usage will be evenings and weekend.

Jack asked:
What are some of the companies who can supply a telephone system which charges the caller say $2 per minute. Of this amount $1 goes to the person being called and $1 goes to the me the supplier of this service. How would I set this type of system up ? No wise *** remarks please.
